We’ve had 13 years to get used to being in the 21st century. Maybe we don’t need to mention it any more.
We get it, everything’s electronic in the future
Once upon a time, the 21st century was synonymous with the future. Now, there are students in your library who think of the 2000’s with nostalgia (I know, weird, right?). Every time you feel like writing “libraries in the 21st century” try just writing “libraries” and see if you lose anything. And don’t even think that writing “libraries of the future” will do the job instead… unless your future library has space robots. That would be cool.Image: “France in XXI Century” available from Wikimedia
